This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through Certain Competitive Service / Modified Direct Hire Authority. Major duties

  • You will plan, prepare and present cyber threat briefings to the NAVAIR workforce.
  • You will respond to specific program customers having cyber intelligence requirements.
  • You will respond to customers having emergent intelligence requirements.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-02 (GS-08) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) identify present and future intelligence requirements, (2) perform cyber threat systems research, (3) conduct cyber threat analysis, (4) prepare/present cyber threat reports and briefings (5) developing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data, (6) conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs, (7) promote awareness of security issues among management and ensuring sound security principles are reflected in organizations' visions and goals, (8) conduct systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews, (9) assess security events to determine impact and implementing corrective actions, and (10) ensure the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices . Education

GS-09 or equivalent: Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree
