*About the Position*
We are looking for a reliable, experienced *Skilled Construction Worker* to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, a current First Aid ticket, and experience operating a telehandler and/or other construction equipment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a crew.
*Responsibilities*
- Perform a variety of skilled construction and general labour tasks
- Safely operate telehandlers and other construction machinery as qualified
- Assist with material handling, site preparation, demolition, installation, and cleanup
- Read and follow job plans, instructions, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and other crew members
- Perform physically demanding work, including lifting and working outdoors
- Follow all company and WorkSafeBC safety requirements
*Qualifications*
- Previous construction experience required
- Current First Aid ticket required
- Telehandler ticket/certification strongly preferred
- Experience or tickets for other construction equipment are an asset
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
- Strong understanding of workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition and able to perform manual labour
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
