hydraulic excavator operator
MJB is looking for skilled hydraulic excavators operators.
The candidate should have a minimum of five years experience in operating various sizes of excavator for municipal water, sewer and services installation and replacement. Experience with road construction and grading would be a benefit.
Responsibilities:
- Excavation and backfill for municipal water, sewer and services installation and replacement.
- Work in both open field settings (new subdivisions) and within existing urban infrastructure (replacement).
- Road work including culvert installation.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition through regular inspections and basic troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with project managers and crew member to safely complete projects.
- Operate all equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- Five years experience operating hydraulic excavators.
- Valid drivers license.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs
MJB is a construction company located in Medicine Hat Alberta. Working in Medicine Hat and Southeastern Alberta. Applicants should be familiar with the installation of water and sewer utilities, however, any construction experience will be an asset. Employees are expected to work 10 hour days and some weekends. Wage to be negotiated and dependent on experience. All applicants must have a valid driver?s license & current abstract.
