EHS Specialist

• Implement and maintain safety policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
• Conduct risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and hazard identification (HAZID/HAZOP) to prevent workplace accidents.
• Monitor and ensure safe work practices in all production and contractor activities.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and organize fire and evacuation drills.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses; identify root causes and propose corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the ISO 45001 management system to meet certification requirements.
• Prepare and control safety-related documents, records, and procedures according to ISO standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections in all work areas to identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
• Maintain emergency response plans and ensure readiness of firefighting and first-aid equipment.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance workplace safety and health.
• Maintain accident statistics and report findings to management and relevant government agencies.
• Conduct internal audits, management reviews, and system performance evaluations.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in implementing or maintaining the ISO 45001 management system. Detailed knowledge of essential function and job duties assigned to other EHS positions Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the work place Good command in English / Chinese ability to quickly assess situations through demonstrated problem-solving skills and knowledge of state of the art technology related to their environmental discipline
