HIS/RIS Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot HIS and RIS applications and related healthcare workflows.
- Understand HIS/RIS workflows including
- Analyze integration issues by tracking requests, responses, message queues, logs, interfaces, and database transactions.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and database objects.
- Work closely with software development, implementation, support, infrastructure, and customer teams to resolve complex production issues.
Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Database troubleshooting and data investigation
Good understanding of HL7 standards and healthcare integration
Experience with HIS and/or RIS systems
Experience troubleshooting production applications and integrations
Ability to analyze application, database, and integration logs
Healthcare Knowledge
- HIS – Hospital Information System
- RIS – Radiology Information System
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Healthcare IT is strongly preferred.
