Business Development Executive (Localization)

Research and identify new leads: localization agencies, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and other organizations that publish multilingual content.

Find the right decision-makers (localization managers, procurement, communications and outreach leads) and build qualified prospect lists.

Write and send personalized cold emails, run follow-up sequences, and track results.

Reply promptly and professionally to inquiries, questions, and requests for quotes (RFQs).

Prepare quotations based on word count, language pairs, service type (translation, editing, proofreading, review), turnaround, and our pricing guidelines.

Keep the CRM accurate and up to date: log every contact, update deal stages, and set follow-up reminders.

Follow up on open quotes, negotiate within agreed limits, and close deals.

Hand over confirmed projects to the project management team with clear instructions and client expectations.

Report weekly on activity, pipeline, and results, and share market feedback with the founders.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, languages, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or account management.

Excellent written English, with clear, professional, and persuasive emails. Spoken English must be good enough for client calls.

Hands-on experience with cold outreach and email follow-up sequences.

Experience using a CRM to manage leads and a sales pipeline.

Proven ability to research prospects using LinkedIn, company websites, and online directories.

Comfortable with numbers: able to build accurate quotes from word counts, rates, minimum fees, and turnaround times.

Strong organization, attention to detail, and fast response times.

Proficiency with email, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and spreadsheets.

Preferred (a plus, not required) Experience in the translation, localization, or language services industry, and familiarity with terms such as CAT tools, translation memory, and TEP.

Experience selling to US government, or public-sector buyers, or knowledge of procurement and RFP processes.

Experience working with international clients in the US or Europe.

Knowledge of Arabic or another language we work in.

Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or email outreach tools.

Basic project coordination skills.
