Engineer Manager
An expanding world-wide leader in aerospace manufacturing is looking to establish an engineering design base in Hermosillo, Sonora, beginning operations during January 2027, and they are looking for: Engineering Manager
Required profile:
- Completed bachelor's degree in mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in engineering position in aerospace industry, preferably in management
- Understanding of FAA / EASA Part 21, Part 25
- Understanding and compliance of ISO9001/AS9100 certification.
- Must have a valid US Visa
- Must have a valid Passport
- Availability to relocate to US during a 3–6-month period for training (living expenses covered)
- Living in Hermosillo or with availability to relocate post-training
- Advanced English (writing and speaking)
Main responsibilities:
- Management of all Module Engineering functions of Design Organization
- Tracking KPI’s of the Module Engineering processes
- Development and optimization of new processes
- Participation in Hiring and training of engineering personnel
- Ensure compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 certification
- Assist in development and compliance of departmental budget.
- Coordination with Global Engineering management
- Develop and implement training programs
- Assist in risk analysis, management and mitigation
