Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, and VDA standards.

Lead, plan internal audits and coordinate external audits, including customer and certification body audits.

Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues and manage complaint resolution using 8D, 5-Why, and Root Cause Analysis methods.

Monitor customer scorecards and drive improvement plans as needed, and report monthly to management.

Lead or support supplier evaluations and audits, and manage supplier non-conformances and corrective actions in coordination.

Monitor in-process quality controls and implement process adjustments to maintain product standards.

Lead the development and approval of Control Plans, FMEAs, and PPAP submissions

Support new product launches from a quality assurance perspective.

Track quality KPIs, including scrap rates, rework, PPM, and internal/external defect rates, and provide regular reports to management.

Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other data-driven quality tools such as MSA according to customer requirements.

Manage and develop quality team members, and conduct quality training sessions for inspectors, technicians, and staff across operations, logistics, and new employees during onboarding processes.

Identify potential quality risks and recommend preventive actions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.

Create or update any instruction, procedure, or visual forms all across the plant related with all departments.

Other duties within the scope of the position may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within an automotive environment.

Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC). IATF internal auditor, and core tools training certificates are required.

Strong knowledge of SAP.

Proven experience leading internal and external audits, including customer and certification body audits.

Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Root Cause Analysis.

Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles; Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Experience in an international company is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across production, engineering, and customer-facing teams.
