Project Engineer - Tunneling - ADM Approved

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer specializing in Tunneling to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves managing and executing tunneling projects with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, ensuring all works comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) standards and approvals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of tunneling projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any technical issues promptly.
• Ensure all tunneling works comply with ADM specifications, regulations, and safety standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and quality control plans.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with design teams and provide technical guidance during project execution.
• Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Coordinate with local authorities to secure necessary approvals and permits for tunneling operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer in tunneling or underground construction projects, preferably in the UAE region.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) regulations and approval processes.
• Strong knowledge of tunneling methods, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
