Heerenveen - 36 per week - Full-time

As a Processing Line Operator in Heerenveen, you will work full-time in a modern production environment within the dairy industry, where you will be responsible for the automated storage and handling of speciality cheeses as part of a three-shift rota. You will work with robots, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and advanced handling and packaging lines. Together with around 30 colleagues, you will ensure that the process runs safely, efficiently and according to schedule. You will report to the Logistics Team Leader and work 36 hours per week across the shifts 06.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00 and 22.00-06.00, with every weekend off.

At Kaasmakerij Henri Willig, a lot has been invested in expanding and improving the factory in Heerenveen in recent years. Examples include the implementation of a (robotised) packaging line, a cheese treatment line and a completely renovated, enlarged and automated cheese warehouse. You will work with the most modern robots and AGVs in the dairy industry and with artisan speciality cheeses that win prizes worldwide.

What will you do

In this position, you will be responsible for keeping the automated handling and storage process running smoothly.

• You handle cheeses using various automated handling and loading lines, so that the process runs efficiently.
• You monitor the process flow, identify deviations and adjust equipment to ensure quality and continuity.
• You act adequately in the event of (impending) process disruptions and liaise with Technical Services where necessary.
• You operate the programmed storage installation according to schedule.
• You process progress, process data and malfunctions in the ERP system to keep the administration up to date.
• You proactively clean machines, equipment and work areas to guarantee hygiene and safety.
