Sr. DevOps Engineer (Terraform Cloud)
Accountabilities: Design, implement, and maintain highly available CI/CD pipelines supporting development, staging, pre-production, and production environments.
Architect and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, improving scalability, consistency, security, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering, security, platform, QA, and SRE teams to establish DevOps standards, streamline deployment processes, and improve software delivery.
Build and enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability and rapid incident response.
Identify opportunities to optimize infrastructure performance, availability, scalability, and cloud costs through proactive analysis and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and technical standards that support platform reliability and knowledge sharing.
Evaluate emerging technologies, recommend infrastructure improvements, and contribute to strategic platform initiatives and migration projects.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance, architecture discussions, code reviews, and best practice adoption.
Requirements
5–7 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role.
At least 4 years of experience designing, building, and operating enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines, including strong expertise with CircleCI and familiarity with GitHub Actions.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform Cloud and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Deep expertise in AWS cloud services, networking, IAM, security best practices, and cloud cost optimization.
Strong experience supporting mission-critical production environments and implementing resilient, highly available infrastructure.
Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms, with Datadog experience preferred.
Advanced scripting skills using Shell, Ruby, or similar automation technologies.
Experience working with containerized and serverless architectures, PostgreSQL operations, Git workflows, and Agile development environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
