Aufgaben

• LeadSQLServerarchitectureandoperations,servingasthetechnicalauthorityforhighavailability,disasterrecovery,replication,anddatabaseresilienceacrossamulti-tenantcloudplatform.
• Design,configure,andmaintainSQLServerAlwaysOnAvailabilityGroupsandDistributedAvailabilityGroups,includingdisasterrecoveryread-nodevalidationandcross-regionreplicationtopologies.
• Actastheescalationpointforcomplexandhigh-severitydatabaseincidents,leadingroot-causeanalysisandremediationforconnectivityfailures,memorypressure,blocking,deadlocks,andstoragecapacityissues.
• OwntransactionalreplicationandChangeDataCapture(CDC)lifecyclemanagement,coordinatingimplementation,teardown,andreinstatementduringclientupgradesandgo-liveevents.
• Overseedatabaseperformancemonitoringandoptimization,includingquerytuning,indexmanagement,andresourceutilizationacrossmultipletenants.
• Establishandmaintainrobustbackupandrecoverystrategies,ensuringdatabaseintegrity,security,stability,andserviceavailability.
• DevelopandmaintainautomationfordatabaseadministrationandmaintenanceusingPowerShellandAnsible,improvingoperationalconsistencyandscalability.
• Collaboratedirectlywithclient-sidedatabaseadministratorsandITteamsondataintegration,migrations,troubleshooting,andcutoveractivities.
• Definearchitecturalstandards,technicaldocumentation,operationalprocedures,andbestpracticesforthedatabaseadministrationteam.
• Mentorandupskillfellowengineers,sharetechnicalexpertise,andsupportservicedeliveryacrossaglobaloperationsorganization.
• Identifysystemicrisksandrecommendproactiveimprovementstodatabasearchitecture,maintenanceprocesses,andoperationalworkflows.
• Balancemultiplepriorities,communicatetechnicaldecisionseffectively,andcontributetocontinuousimprovementinitiatives.

Anforderungen

• Atleast7yearsofhands-onexperienceasaSQLServerDatabaseAdministrator,workingwithSQLServer2016orlater,withdemonstratedtechnicalownershipataprincipalorleadlevel.
• Deepexpertiseindesigning,configuring,andtroubleshootingSQLServerAlwaysOnAvailabilityGroupsandDistributedAvailabilityGroups.
• Strongdatabasedesignandadministrationskills,includingproficiencyinT-SQL,SQLServerManagementStudio(SSMS),andSQLServerAgent.
• Provenexperiencewithdisasterrecoveryandbackuparchitecture,includingfull,differential,andtransactionlogbackupstrategiesandrecovery-chainintegrity.
• Advancedskillsindatabasetroubleshooting,performancetuning,queryoptimization,andincidentresolution.
• PracticalexperiencewithtransactionalreplicationandChangeDataCapture(CDC),particularlyincomplexproductionenvironments.
• ExperiencemanagingMicrosoftSQLServerworkloadsoncloudplatforms,preferablyAWSandAzure.
• ProficiencyinPowerShellscriptingandexperiencewithAnsibleorcomparableautomationtoolsforlarge-scaledatabaseoperations.
• FamiliaritywithversioncontrolsystemssuchasGitformaintainingandmanagingoperationalscripts.
• Demonstratedabilitytomentorengineers,transfertechnicalknowledge,andestablisheffectiveteampractices.
• Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytoengagedirectlywithclientsandexplaincomplextechnicalconceptstoaudienceswithvaryinglevelsofexpertise.
• Stronganalyticalthinking,independentdecision-making,andtheabilitytoevaluatearchitecturaltrade-offs,anticipaterisks,andprioritizecompetingdeliverablesinafast-pacedenvironment.
• ExperiencewithSQLServerReportingServices(SSRS),SQLServerIntegrationServices(SSIS),AgileorScrummethodologies,orrelevantMicrosoftcertificationsisanadvantage.
