Site Engineer (Finishing Engineer)

Company Description: IVEC Contracting is a leading construction company in Cairo, Egypt, with over 33 years of experience. The company specializes in residential, commercial, administrative, and service construction, maintenance, and development. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage all on-site civil works to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Monitor project progress and report daily site activities.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.

Manage material usage and inventory on-site.

Resolve technical issues and provide solutions for site challenges.

Team Management: Full ability to manage sites, work teams, and technicians with complete efficiency.

Inventory: Making the initial and final inventory of the project, determining quantities and listing them according to the project requirements and what has been implemented.

Labor Management: Organizing and supervising the various workers on the site, including contractors, craftsmen, and technicians, and ensuring the implementation of work in accordance with engineering, security, and safety standards.

Progress Monitoring: Following up on the progress of construction work and ensuring its implementation within the specified timetables, and coordinating with construction contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.

Quality Assurance: Implementing and monitoring inspection and testing operations to ensure the quality of materials used, quality of implementation, and compliance with specifications.

Reporting: Documenting the progress of work and preparing periodic reports for management and clients regarding progress, costs, potential problems, and proposed solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Proven experience (4+ years) in the construction industry.

Solid knowledge of construction processes and standards.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to lead teams and handle on-site pressures.
