QA Automation Engineer / Quality Engineer with AI Experience

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who wants to take real ownership of product quality — from requirements and development through testing and release. Daily tasks

• Own product quality and contribute to go/no-go release decisions.
• Design and maintain E2E, API, and integration tests using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build and improve automated test coverage, with a strong focus on API and service-level testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Use AI tools to generate and maintain tests while critically reviewing their quality and value.
• Create reliable test infrastructure, including test data, fixtures, and contract tests.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing where automation is not the best solution.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to turn requirements into testable scenarios.
• Investigate production issues using logging and observability tools and feed findings back into the test suite.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in test automation with JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript . Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress . Experience with API testing (Postman or equivalent). Experience with CI/CD . Good understanding of web applications and networking, including CORS . Experience working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB . Experience with AWS , logging, debugging, and observability. Practical experience using AI tools for development and test automation . Ability to assess quality risks and confidently make release decisions. English: C1+ Nice to have Experience with contract testing . Experience building or improving test frameworks. Knowledge of New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, structured logging, or tracing . Experience working in small, autonomous product teams.
