Junior AI Technology Engineer
Investia Capital Group is seeking a talented and highly motivated Junior AI Technology Engineer to help create an AI-powered, agentic layer across ICG, its portfolio companies, and new businesses developed by the Group. The successful candidate will combine technical ability, business curiosity, and problem-solving skills. The role is not limited to software development: the candidate will learn how to design AI-native companies whose business models, operations, products, and customer experiences are built around artificial intelligence from the outset.
Assist in designing and implementing AI agents and automated workflows across ICG and its affiliated companies.
Identify business processes that can be improved through AI, automation, data analysis, or agentic systems.
Help develop AI assistants for research, investment analysis, customer service, compliance, reporting, marketing, and internal operations.
Work closely with ICG’s IT architect to ensure that AI solutions are secure, scalable, properly integrated, and aligned with the Group’s technology architecture.
Coordinate with software providers, cloud providers, fintech platforms, consultants, and other technology suppliers.
Support the integration of AI tools with existing systems, databases, APIs, CRM platforms, and document-management systems.
Test new solutions, investigate technical problems, and act as a first-line troubleshooter between users, suppliers, and technical specialists.
Work closely with the Investment Department to assess companies and opportunities involving AI, fintech, software, and digital transformation.
Assist in evaluating the technology, scalability, data requirements, implementation costs, and commercial potential of prospective investments.
Participate in building new AI-native companies, from identifying the business problem and designing the product to selecting suppliers and supporting implementation.
Monitor developments in AI models, agentic technologies, automation tools, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Prepare clear technical documentation, implementation plans, progress reports, and recommendations for management.
Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, information systems, or a related discipline.
Preferably one to three years of relevant experience, although exceptional fresh graduates may be considered.
Basic knowledge of generative AI, large language models, AI agents, APIs, databases, cloud systems, and workflow automation.
Some programming ability, preferably in Python or JavaScript.
Familiarity with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, data pipelines, or low-code automation tools would be an advantage.
Strong interest in understanding business models, investment opportunities, and the commercial application of technology.
Ability and willingness to learn how AI-native businesses are designed, launched, operated, and scaled.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with business executives, investment professionals, IT architects, engineers, and external suppliers.
Self-motivated, practical, adaptable, and comfortable working on several early-stage projects.
Good command of English and Arabic.
What Success Looks Like: The successful candidate will gradually become ICG’s internal link between artificial intelligence, technology architecture, investment analysis, and new venture creation.
The objective is to develop someone capable of helping the Group introduce practical AI solutions, supervise external providers, resolve implementation problems, and contribute to building scalable AI-native companies.
