Your Tasks

• Develop and improve the steady-state and transient performance of gas engines through simulation and testing.

• Lead gas engine development projects focusing on power, efficiency, emissions, transient behavior and operating strategies.

• Plan and conduct in-house testing on single- and multi-cylinder engines, focusing on mixture preparation, gas exchange, ignition, combustion and turbocharging.

• Analyze and interpret simulation and measurement results, draw conclusions and prepare reports.

• Validate engine and component performance, including testing at research institutes and customer sites.

• Collaborate closely with controls, design, mechanical engineering, emissions aftertreatment, test bench, service, manufacturing and order engineering teams, as well as external suppliers.

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Several years of experience in internal combustion engine development, with a focus on performance development.

• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a global matrix organization.

• Good communication skills in English.
