Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location : Harrogate

Salary : £45,000 - £52,500 per annum

Hours: Full time, 42 hours per week (12 hour rotating shifts)

Our client is a well established and highly successful manufacturing business based in Harrogate, operating a modern production environment. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team and play a key role in maintaining and improving site reliability.

Your Duties as Maintenance Engineer will include:

• Diagnose and repair faults on machinery
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of specialist equipment
• Complete electrical and mechanical fault finding, servicing and repairs
• Identify potential equipment failures and implement preventative solutions
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and support continuous improvement
• Work closely with Production to maximise equipment reliability and efficiency
• Oversee on site contractors, ensuring safety and documentation requirements are met
• Complete accurate maintenance records and detailed shift handovers
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality and site procedures

Experience required:

• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding skills
• Mechanical servicing and repair skills including welding/turning
• Strong problem solving and fault diagnosis abilities
• Electrical / Mechanical City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
• Professional, reliable and committed team player
