Sales Supervisor (Cairo-Alex-Mansoura-Assuit-Ismalia)
The Sales Supervisor for cold chain manages the distribution, field sales team, and cold-chain retail placement to hit volume and revenue targets. Ice cream distribution relies heavily on strict temperature controls, quick turnover, and seasonal demand planning. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Operations Supervise daily routes : Oversee van sales representatives, route delivery drivers, and merchandisers.
Conduct field visits : Perform 15–20 daily retail and outlet quality checks.
Enforce fleet hygiene : Verify delivery vehicles are clean, sanitized, and operating at correct freezing temperatures.
Market Development & Account Management Expand market reach : Secure new product placements in traditional and modern trade outlets.
Manage buyer relationships : Partner with purchasing managers at Kiosks', supermarkets, Retail Outlets.
Drive range selling : Push the full product catalog—including premium tubs, sticks, and bulk options—to maximize order value.
Sales Operations & Logistics Monitor cold-chain compliance : Ensure point-of-sale freezers are operational, clean, and exclusively stocked with company products.
Coordinate stock freshing : Liaise with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and guarantee inventory freshness.
Manage cash and credit : Oversee payment collections, register balances, and credit limits for retail accounts.
Experience & Education FMCG Background : 3 to 7 years of sales experience in ice cream, dairy, frozen foods, or fast-moving consumer goods.
Education : Bachelor’s degree or vocational diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies Route-to-market knowledge : Deep understanding of local modern trade (MT) and traditional trade (TT) networks.
Logistics awareness : Basic knowledge of cold-chain management and frozen food handling standards.
Driving credentials : Valid manual driving license is typically required for field operations.
