DevSecOps engineer

The Armenian office of HOSTKEY , an international hosting company, is looking for an DevSecOps engineer . The main workload involves managing legal-entity clients and related documentation — you'll be handed a substantial volume of work right away.

About us: We've been operating since 2008, with 5,000+ servers across data centers in the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, and the USA. Our core business covers data center services, server rental and leasing, and virtualization.

Responsibilities:

Linux server administration and security management

Configuration and maintenance of web servers (Nginx, Apache) and PHP applications

Tool development and automation using Go

Working with CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and writing pipelines

Setup and maintenance of VPN services to ensure secure access to internal infrastructure

Participating in the expansion of security monitoring and auditing systems (Wazuh, security scanners etc.)

Participating in preparation for ISO 27001 certification

Requirements:

1+ years of Linux administration experience (confident knowledge, firewalld/ufw configuration)

Understanding of network security principles and VPN operation

Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Development experience in Go

Experience working with OpenStack

Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins)

Knowledge of Git

Nice to Haves:

Experience with NGFW (OPNsense)

Experience with LDAP (FreeIPA) and Microsoft AD

Experience with Ansible and Salt

Experience with RADIUS (FreeIPA + DUO, multifactor)

Experience with RDP services (XRDP, Xorg)

Understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS standards

Experience with Jira and process automation
