Construction Civil Engineer

Job Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Civil Construction Engineer to join our construction team. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating civil construction activities on site, ensuring that all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities on site.

Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements .

Review and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.

Coordinate with subcontractors, site engineers, surveyors, and other disciplines.

Monitor the execution of foundations, reinforced concrete works, blockwork, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing works as applicable to the project.

Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and quality of executed works.

Prepare and follow up on material requests, inspection requests, and site reports .

Measure completed works and assist with BOQ quantities and quantity takeoff .

Monitor progress and report delays or technical issues to the Project Manager.

Coordinate with consultants and resolve technical problems on site.

Ensure proper use of materials and minimize waste.

Ensure compliance with project quality and safety requirements .

Maintain accurate records of site activities, quantities, and progress.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .

2–5 years of experience in civil construction/site engineering.

Good practical experience in construction site execution and supervision .

Strong ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings .

Good knowledge of reinforced concrete works, foundations, and general building construction .

Experience in quantity takeoff, BOQ, and measurements is preferred.

Good knowledge of AutoCAD .

Good understanding of construction materials, methods, and specifications.

Strong coordination and communication skills.

Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Willingness to work on construction sites.
