[What you will be working on]

SEED (Security Suite for Engineering Endpoint Devices) is the Singapore Government's endpoint security and zero trust platform for engineering devices. It is already live across thousands of engineering endpoints, supporting a growing range of builders — from traditional software engineers to teams developing AI-powered and agentic solutions. With an expanding product surface — secure remote access, managed productivity tools, AI-assisted security operations — and a clear mandate: keep it secure, make it seamless, and evolve it to stay ahead of both threats and user expectations.

As the Product Manager for SEED, you will own the product roadmap and run SEED as a live platform — keeping it stable, secure, and frictionless enough that engineers can focus on shipping.

What you'll own:

SEED is the security foundation for government engineering. SEED needs to be fast, reliable, and frictionless enough that engineers can focus on shipping. Your job is to run SEED as a live platform: keep it stable, reduce operational overhead, improve the user experience at every touchpoint, and evolve the capability surface as threats and engineering needs change.

You are expected to:

Own the SEED product roadmap and drive ongoing improvement of a live platform serving thousands of engineering endpoints — balancing security outcomes with engineering velocity.

Reduce the time and friction it takes for an agency engineer to go from device assignment to fully compliant and productive on SEED.

Drive consolidation so SEED and adjacent products (e.g. TechPass, GCC, M365) work together as a coherent experience for engineers. Own the integration roadmap and clarify where boundaries sit.

Systematically reduce friction. Surface where security controls slow engineers down and invest in making compliance invisible — automated onboarding, self-service remediation, clear error states, AI-assisted analysis that saves time rather than generating noise.

Anticipate and support emerging engineering workflows, including AI-assisted development and agentic systems, ensuring SEED evolves to meet new security and productivity needs.

Work closely with adjacent product teams so the full engineering device lifecycle — identity, device management, and security — holds together as a coherent experience for agencies.

You do this by:

Running continuous improvement cycles on enrolment, policy enforcement, monitoring, and self-service workflows with your engineering and design team.

Engaging agencies across WOG to understand where SEED creates friction in real engineering workflows, and building repeatable playbooks for onboarding new device types, security profiles, and agency operating models.

Defining and tracking operational metrics — time-to-compliance, exception request volume, false-positive rates, support ticket patterns — that tell you whether SEED is getting better or worse for the people who have to use it.

Partnering with cybersecurity stakeholders to align SEED's evolution with the government's broader security posture strategy.

Building the instrumentation needed to trace the user journey end-to-end — from device enrolment to policy compliance to active threat monitoring — so the team can see where things stall and fix them before users raise tickets.

Driving the rollout of new SEED capabilities across a diverse WOG landscape with varying levels of engineering and cybersecurity maturity.

You will ultimately be responsible for SEED being a platform that sustains engineering productivity — because it's secure by default and invisible by design.

[What we are looking for]

We are looking for an independent person with strong product management fundamentals and a desire to continuously develop their craft.

4 to 8 years in product management. Years of experience are a rough guideline. We are also open to exceptional early-career candidates who demonstrate strong product thinking, ownership, and learning agility.

Has shipped impactful products, projects, or initiatives in complex organisations, with multiple stakeholder groups and a mix of top-down mandates and bottom-up adoption to navigate.

Can run structured product thinking in ambiguous spaces and shift into execution mode without losing sight of the strategy.

Communicates clearly in writing and in person, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and working with engineers in the same week.

Prior experience with security products, zero trust architecture, endpoint management, or enterprise platform products is a plus.
