Purchasing & Import Manager (Urgent)

1.Manage and execute import operations in compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws. 2.Procurement of machinery, equipment, spare parts, and related materials from overseas. 3.Prepare, review, and process import documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading (B/L), air waybills (AWB), certificates of origin (COO), and required permits or licenses. 4.Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and relevant government authorities. 5.Verify HS codes, customs valuation, duties, taxes, and related import charges. 6.Ensure smooth customs clearance and resolve issues related to shipment delays, documentation errors, or regulatory requirements. 7.Maintain accurate records and update import data internal systems. 8.Support internal audits and compliance checks related to import activities. 9.Manage and execute import operations in compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws. 10.Monitor shipment status and ensure on-time delivery in accordance with business requirements. 11.Prepare compliance reports, trade data analysis, and KPI metrics for management review.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, International Business, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in import. Understanding of HS Code classification and import documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB). Experience in vendor sourcing and evaluation, price negotiation, and cost control, including the ability to analyze transportation rates, costs, and profitability. Knowledge of Import transportation, Ports, Airports, and Customs Clearance, with an understanding of Container Transportation. Strong attention to detail and ability to review and control documentation, expenses, approvals, and service conditions in accordance with company standards. Strong planning, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and preventive action skills to prevent recurring issues. Ability to make decisions regarding Vendor Management and appropriately escalate issues when risks or non-compliance with standards are identified. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop team members and monitor performance to achieve targets. Strong coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience with ISO 9001 systems and the ability to prepare/review QP / SOP / WI / Forms and controlled documentation systems will be an advantage. Fluent English communication skills listening, speaking, reading, and writing (working language). Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Able to work Monday-Saturday (6 days) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
