Description

We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Your tasks

Design and document enterprise-level architecture, encompassing business processes, information flows, applications, and technology infrastructure; define and document a long-term architecture vision; Establish and enforce technology standards and best practices to ensure consistency and interoperability across the organization; Provide guidance and oversight to project teams to ensure that projects align with the overall agreed direction; Manage and facilitate the transition from the current state to the desired future state, bringing in the right people and knowledge to support the project's needs; Work closely with stakeholders and IT Teams to understand their needs and challenges; document and communicate architectural decisions (Wiki).

Requirements

Master's degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years; Proficiency in popular enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or others; Knowledge of application architecture, including designing and integrating software applications in an organization as well as information system security principles and the ability to design secure systems and infrastructure; Good knowledge of modern SOA-based architecture underpinned by reusable and scalable services Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with continuous integration and deployment; Knowledge of API design principles and experience in managing APIs for efficient system integration; Knowledge of programming languages and development practices to understand application development processes such as JEE, .NET, and JavaScript; Understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and ServiceNow as well as middleware technologies and their role in integrating different components of an IT architecture deployed in hybrid environments; Understanding of emerging technologies such as Blockchain, artificial intelligence, and machine learning; Excellent command of the English language.
