Based in Dubai, the Emirates Group is a global aviation and travel organisation, home to Emirates, one of the world’s largest international airlines, and dnata, a leading global air and travel services provider. Together, our businesses connect people and economies across the world, supported by teams working across technology, finance, commercial, people, customer experience, operations and many other areas.

Elevate is our six-month internship programme for university students and recent graduates from around the world to learn, contribute and build professional experience with the Emirates Group in Dubai.

You’ll join one of our corporate teams, work alongside experienced colleagues and develop your skills through hands-on experience, feedback and learning opportunities.

The experience

Your internship will combine hands-on experience within your team with opportunities to learn and connect across the Emirates Group.

During the programme, you will:

Contribute to real projects and day-to-day business priorities

Work with colleagues from different backgrounds, functions and areas of expertise

Develop your problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills

Take part in learning sessions and development opportunities

Receive feedback throughout your internship, including mid-point and final reviews

Join a cohort of interns starting their journey together in Dubai

Be supported by a buddy throughout the programme

Where could you join us?

We have internship opportunities across Emirates and dnata, covering a broad range of career areas.

Depending on your studies, skills and interests, you could gain experience in areas such as:

Finance & audit: financial planning and analysis, internal audit and financial projects

Strategy, data & technology: strategy, business improvement, analytics, artificial intelligence and technology

People, legal & risk: human resources, legal, privacy, safety and workplace wellbeing

Commercial & customer: commercial projects, loyalty, travel, cargo and customer experience

Operations: service delivery, operational planning and performance

Projects will vary by placement. You could find yourself analysing data to support a business decision, researching a new opportunity, improving how we communicate with employees or customers, exploring the use of AI, or supporting improvements to an existing service or process.

When you apply, you’ll tell us which areas interest you most. We’ll consider your academic background, skills and interests when matching candidates to available placements.

Who can apply?

We welcome candidates from a wide range of academic backgrounds, including business, finance, economics, data and technology, engineering, law, human resources, psychology, communications, marketing, hospitality, tourism, supply chain, healthcare management, and safety.

Some placements require a relevant academic specialism.

Qualification

To be eligible, you must:

Be in the final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or have recently graduated

Have completed at least one previous internship

Be available to work full-time in Dubai for six months

Have not previously completed an internship with the Emirates Group

Be curious, proactive and ready to learn in an international environment

What we offer

Your Elevate package includes:

AED 5,000 monthly salary

Accommodation: company-provided accommodation at Premier Inn Hotel, or an AED 2,000 monthly accommodation allowance

Flights: travel to Dubai at the start of your internship and home at the end
