Field Sales Representative

Your tasks

We are seeking an energetic and goal-oriented Field Sales Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence across general insurance products (excluding marine, import/export, and credit insurance).

• Identify, target, and acquire new commercial and personal general insurance accounts.
• Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
• Consult with clients to assess their risks and recommend appropriate general insurance coverages (e.g., property, liability, motor, personal accident, engineering).
• Deliver sales presentations and proposals to key decision-makers and business owners.
• Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure high policy renewal rates and cross-selling opportunities.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry regulations, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

Key Qualifications

• Local diploma or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; or 2+ years of proven sales or business development experience, preferably within the general insurance or financial services sector.
• Relevant local insurance qualifications/certifications (e.g., General Insurance Certifications).
• Strong understanding of commercial and personal general insurance products and risk management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
