BIM Structural Engineer

Develop detailed 3D BIM models (Rivet Models) for structural and precast systems.

Produce accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction drawings / documents based on project requirements.

Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and design intent.

Integrate BIM workflows with traditional engineering processes to optimize project delivery and coordination.

Identify and resolve clashes, inconsistencies, or constructability issues within BIM models.

Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project standards.

Support the implementation of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across all projects.

Assist in quantity take-offs, material scheduling, and other data extraction tasks from BIM models.

Participate in project meetings to provide technical input and coordinate design changes.

Ensure all deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and timeline expectations.

Implement design revisions / changes and updates.

4-7 years of experience in BIM modeling or drafting within the engineering or construction industry.

Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

Strong understanding of structural systems, particularly precast and reinforced concrete elements.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and model management.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced office environment.

Familiarity with BIM standards, protocols, and industry best practices.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.
