The Office for Study Programmes and Student Affairs is looking for a Student Helper for DTU Student’s Culture Hub.

We are looking for an engaged individual who wants to help Student’s Culture Hub work towards combatting loneliness on campus, creating inclusive mindsets, and supporting our Culture Hub Communities with their activities and events.

The job Tasks include: Assisting, guiding and coordination of the existing team of volunteers Event creation, development and execution – particularly with a focus on cultural celebrations and social cohesion Being the ‘go to’ for knowing what inventory exists in our storage, and being the main person for ensuring it remains catalogued General front facing towards DTU students and peers, inspiring them to join our activities and share their stories.

Our expectations of you In order to be considered for the position we require that: You have in dept knowledge of DTU Student’s Culture Hub, its communities and activities You have previous experience with, or has been a European Solidarity Corps volunteer You have a good and thorough understanding of DTU as a university, student life at DTU and are aware of the student political and social landscape You have an understanding, experience and fluency in using social media to strengthen outreach of our offers and purpose

What we offer in return DTU Student’s Culture Hub is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, vibrant, and welcoming student environment where all students can feel connected and engaged in campus life.

We work to combat loneliness, strengthen social cohesion, and create opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds to build meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging. Through our communities, events, and volunteer-driven initiatives, we support cultural exchange, student wellbeing, and active participation in university life.

Our activities and services include: Organizing and facilitating cultural and social events that bring students together and celebrate diversity. Supporting student communities and volunteers in developing and delivering meaningful activities and initiatives. Creating opportunities for students to expand their networks, develop new skills, and engage with campus life. Promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and a strong sense of community across DTU. Engaging directly with students to encourage participation, share information, and raise awareness of available opportunities and support.

By working closely with students, volunteers, and university stakeholders, DTU Student’s Culture Hub contributes to a campus culture where everyone feels welcome, valued, and empowered to participate.

Salary and appointment terms The appointment will be based on the collective agreement for student lecturers at universities etc. (SUL). See hourly pay rates here .

Working hours are on average 12-15 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is 1. december (or according to mutual agreement). The employment runs as long as you are an active student.

The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
