Estate Surveyor
Responsibilities:
Conduct property inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports. Assist with property valuation and preparation of valuation reports. Conduct market research and analyse property trends, rental values and comparable properties. Assist in property acquisition, disposal and marketing activities. Manage and maintain accurate property records and databases. Assist with property management and routine property inspections. Liaise with clients, property owners, tenants and other relevant stakeholders. Participate in property viewings and client meetings. Prepare property reports, proposals and other relevant documentation. Monitor and provide updates on property and market developments. Support the team in identifying new business and property opportunities. Ensure professional standards are maintained in the delivery of estate surveying services.
Requirements:
B.Sc. or HND in Estate Management or a related discipline. Minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in estate surveying or real estate. Good understanding of property valuation, agency, property management and real estate practice. Good knowledge of the Lagos property market. Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to prepare clear and professional reports. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be willing to carry out field inspections and meet clients when required
Added Advantage:
Professional membership or relevant certification is an advantage. Experience with real estate/property management software is an added advantage. Knowledge of current property values and market trends across Lagos.
