Structural Engineer
Design & Engineering
- Design precast concrete elements such as beams, columns, slabs, panels, culverts, and other
structural components.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations using relevant software.
- Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings and shop drawings.
- Develop reinforcement detailing in accordance with project specifications.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure designs comply with UAE codes, ACI, BS/EN, and other applicable standards.
- Coordinate with consultants and clients to meet project specifications and approval requirements.
- Review method statements and technical submittals for compliance.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure product quality meets standards.
- Conduct inspections and audits of manufactured elements.
- Analyze test results (e.g., compressive strength, load tests) and recommend improvements.
Project Coordination
- Collaborate with project managers, planners, and site engineers.
- Provide technical support during installation of precast elements.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders, clients, and consultants.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Experience in concrete, precast, GRC, or UHPC / advanced concrete systems
- 3+ years of experience in Structural design in a manufacturing industry or similar
- Proficiency in structural design software such as:
ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
