ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a typical operations internship. We're not looking for someone to manage processes — we're looking for someone to automate them out of existence. You'll report directly to a founding team member and own real parts of the business from day one: no slide decks, no shadow work, no busy tasks. If something is broken, you fix it. If something is manual, you eliminate it.
This is a 3–6 month paid internship with a clear path to convert into a full-time Operations role for the right candidate.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and maintain automation workflows using tools like n8n, Make, and Zapier to replace manual operational steps
- Write Python scripts to support internal tooling and data processing needs
- Own customer experience end-to-end — including onboarding, scheduling, results delivery, and retention flows
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships across Europe (lab partners, phlebotomy clinics, supplement manufacturers)
- Build and maintain internal ops infrastructure using Notion, Linear, and Airtable
- Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively propose and ship solutions
- Communicate directly with German-speaking clinics, partners, and customers
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Dealbreakers (must-haves):
- Native-level German proficiency and fluent English — required for daily communication with clinics, partners, and customers
- Ability to work on-site in Berlin, Germany, Monday–Friday
- Eligible to work in Germany (visa sponsorship is not available)
Required:
- 0–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field
- Pursuing or recently graduated from a rigorous program (engineering, CS, business, or life sciences)
- Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Make) and Python scripting
- Experience building internal tooling with Notion, Linear, and/or Airtable
- Experience coordinating cross-functional or multi-partner workflows
- Owner mindset: fast execution, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward action
- Genuine enthusiasm for preventive health and longevity
Nice to have:
- Prior exposure to healthtech, diagnostics, or a B2C membership/subscription model
- Experience in a fast-moving early-stage startup environment
