About the team

You’ll join the Castrol Capability Centre and play a key role in driving New Product Introduction (NPI) activities across the European Performance Unit. Working closely with marketing, technology, planning, manufacturing, and sales, you’ll coordinate the effective implementation of product portfolio changes and help ensure new products are launched on time to support business strategies across the region. You’ll work across regional and global teams, connecting supply chain requirements with wider business priorities. You’ll also collaborate closely with Global NPI teams on Global Key Account and OEM-related projects, helping translate product changes into coordinated supply chain actions.

Key tasks

Lead and coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities for New Product Introductions (NPI) and product portfolio changes across the European Performance Unit, working with regional and global teams to support on-time implementation.

Oversee NPI setup and change management activities, ensuring product range changes are effectively integrated across relevant supply chain processes.

Act as the NPI Supply Chain lead for OEM and Global Account projects, coordinating and driving Global Supply Chain (GSC) actions and required changes across the organization.

Lead product phase-in and phase-out activities, ensuring effective product transitions and maintaining product interchangeability using relevant digital tools.

Partner with planning teams to align NPI and product change activities with planning processes and optimization efforts.

Collaborate across marketing, technology, planning, manufacturing, sales, and regional and global business teams to ensure cross-functional alignment throughout implementation.

Manage the supply chain aspects of tenders and product change initiatives, providing relevant NPI expertise and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Provide demand and inventory status reporting for implementation projects, enabling effective coordination of NPI, tender, and product change activities.

Own and monitor key NPI project performance indicators, including on-time implementation, IFOT and SLOBs, and use these to support successful project delivery.

Experience required

A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, statistics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred but not essential.

At least 8 years of professional supply chain experience, ideally gained within a similar large, global organization. Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge, with the ability to interpret and model complex data sets in network models.

Proven experience in new product launch planning and coordination, combined with a strong understanding of product lifecycle management and S&OP processes.

Strong project management and PMO capabilities, with demonstrated experience delivering significant projects on time and within budget.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Experience working effectively across diverse cultures and functions, including senior management, business stakeholders, peers, and global supply chain operations.
