Global Technical Product Lead (Networking)

Role Overview
Blue Wireless is seeking a Global Technical Product Lead (Networking) to lead our Global Network Engineering function and drive the evolution of our global connectivity portfolio. This role is accountable for network engineering strategy, architecture, operational excellence, and technical execution, ensuring the delivery of scalable, resilient , and high-performance connectivity solutions for enterprise customers worldwide.
As part of the Product Leadership team, you will partner closely with Product, Operations, Commercial, and Executive stakeholders to translate business and product strategy into technology roadmaps, engineering priorities, and operational outcomes. You will lead a global engineering organisation, champion engineering excellence and governance, and drive the successful delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement of Blue Wireless' next-generation connectivity services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Architecture, Strategy and Ownership
Own the global networking architecture and technology roadmap for Blue Wireless' connectivity portfolio.
Translate product strategy into scalable, resilient , and commercially viable network solutions.
Define engineering standards, architecture governance, and technical direction across global deployments.
Evaluate emerging technologies and strategic investments to support future growth and differentiation.
2. Engineering Leadership and Technical Execution
Lead and develop a global Network Engineering function, including talent development, succession planning, and organisational scaling.
Drive engineering excellence through governance, KPIs, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure successful delivery of global product launches, network deployments, and lifecycle management activities.
Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and customer-focused execution.
3. Strategy Leadership and Executive Engagement
Partner with Product Leadership to shape the long-term engineering vision and investment priorities.
Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and strategic technology decisions.
Represent Network Engineering in executive forums, providing updates on strategy, performance, risks, and key initiatives.
Lead executive escalations involving major customers, service incidents, and strategic partners.
4. Vendor, Partner and Cross Functional Collaboration
Lead technical engagement with global carriers, NaaS providers, and technology partners.
Act as the senior engineering interface across Product, Operations, Commercial, and customer-facing teams.
Ensure partner solutions align with Blue Wireless' performance, reliability, and business objectives.
Support customer enablement, roadmap planning, and ongoing service evolution.
Requirements
8+ years' experience in network engineering, including technical leadership and people management responsibilities.
Proven track record delivering enterprise or telecom networking solutions across global or multi-region environments.
Strong leadership , stakeholder management, and cross-functional influencing skills.
Ability to balance technical, operational, and commercial priorities in strategic decision-making.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Comfortable operating in fast-paced , high-growth environments.
Technical Expertise
Strong ability to translate product strategy and business objectives into scalable connectivity architectures and technology roadmaps.
Deep understanding of enterprise networking technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, Ethernet, internet backbone, cellular (4G/5G), and LEO satellite connectivity.
Experience with cloud and hybrid networking architectures, including AWS, Azure, GCP, SASE/SSE, and multi-cloud connectivity models.
Knowledge of network automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), API-driven orchestration, and modern deployment frameworks.
Strong understanding of network resiliency, observability, service assurance, security, and operational scalability principles.
Experience working with global carriers, NaaS providers, and technology partners in multi-region enterprise networking environments.
