AI-native Software Engineer

At the core of the role

We are looking for an experienced engineer who uses the latest AI innovations in their daily work, knows the full SDLC, and wants to reinvent it with AI. In this role, you will be at the heart of transforming a large multinational software services company. You will work with clients to understand their engineering challenges and address them with agentic AI, and you will build agents and accelerators that speed up engineering processes. You will work with the latest agentic development tools and methods, with a dedicated token budget and room to explore new technologies in this space. Your work is designed for reuse across client projects and teams, and you will help shape how the company approaches AI-native engineering. Core skills you’ll bring

• 8+ years' experience in software development (at least one of Python, JavaScript, Java, C#). Some front-end experience (e.g. React and TypeScript) is a plus.
• Solid software engineering skills - analytical thinking, understanding and refactoring code, clean code practices, Git, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern AI coding tool - Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc; and judgment to review and correct the code they generate.
• Experience defining and using skills, MCP servers, and agents; applying Spec-Driven Development & context engineering.
• Experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) and open-weight SLMs / LLMs; and managing LLM costs.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Being proactive and comfortable with ambiguity; you often define the problem before solving it.
• Fluent English.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with RAG patterns, vector databases, agent frameworks (e.g. LangGraph).

The impact you'll create

• Use the latest AI coding tools and practices for software engineering (context management, spec-driven development, skills) and apply them to client projects undertaking AI in SDLC.
• Develop components for existing solutions and new solutions in engineering acceleration by following an AI-native development flow.
• Develop and maintain autonomous agents for the SDLC and integrate with platforms via MCP/API (Jira, GitHub, CI/CD platforms, etc.)
• Perform context engineering to organize project data for AI agents.
• Review and compare AI tools and methodologies.
• Work with client stakeholders to apply technology for solving business issues.
• Share assets and learnings with the internal AI community and coach engineering teams on AI.
