Project Engineer

We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our project team and support the successful execution of civil and construction works. The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for: Managing and following up civil construction activities on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Preparing, updating, and monitoring the project schedule and tracking actual progress against the planned timeline.

Preparing weekly plans, look-ahead schedules, and progress follow-up reports .

Preparing weekly and periodic progress reports , highlighting completed works, pending activities, delays, and required corrective actions.

Coordinating site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.

Reviewing construction drawings and resolving technical issues arising during execution.

Preparing site sketches, sections, construction details, and drawings for any required site detail .

Preparing and/or reviewing shop drawings when required.

Ensuring that site works are executed according to approved technical specifications, quality requirements, and project schedule.

Following up project progress and identifying potential delays or site constraints at an early stage.

Supporting the Project Manager in day-to-day project coordination, documentation, and technical follow-up.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering .

2–4 years of relevant experience in construction projects.

Previous experience in industrial construction projects is highly preferred .

Strong knowledge of site execution and civil construction activities.

Ability to prepare, update, and follow up project schedules .

Ability to prepare weekly progress tracking, look-ahead plans, and project reports .

Strong ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings .

Ability to prepare professional site sketches, sections, details, and shop drawings as required.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

Good knowledge of project planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint .

Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Ability to work effectively on site and coordinate with multiple project stakeholders.
