Electrical Engineer

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer based in Dubai to design, develop, and oversee low and medium voltage electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical design, strong technical proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, and a deep understanding of UAE electrical standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed low voltage and medium voltage electrical designs and calculations

Produce and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical

Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems

Perform load analysis, short-circuit studies, and protection coordination

Ensure designs comply with UAE regulations, DEWA requirements, and relevant international standards

Conduct site visits for installation supervision, testing, and commissioning support

Prepare technical specifications, bill of materials, and project documentation

Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions during construction

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field

3–5 years of experience in low and medium voltage electrical system design

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for creating and modifying schematics

Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, load calculations, and protection coordination

Familiarity with UAE electrical codes, DEWA standards, and IEC/EASC regulations

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and teamwork abilities
