ABM is seeking a Mobile Building Engineer (MIT) to support multiple client sites through 100% travel. This role requires expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, ensuring safe and efficient operations across diverse environments. Pay: $36.50/hr

The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.  Shift and location: Covering San Diego, LA, OC and IE – 1 day minimum in each area per week, extra day TBD based on area need that week.   • Travel 100% between assigned buildings to perform maintenance and repairs
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Respond to emergency service calls and on-call requests
  • Complete inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure safe building operations
  • Document all work orders and PMs using CMMS
  • Coordinate with vendors and communicate with site contacts
  • Follow ABM safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Mobile Building Engineer, Building Engineer, or Maintenance Technician
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and building systems
  • Ability to work independently across multiple locations
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 100%
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • EPA 608 and OSHA certifications preferred
