Context

Short mission (~1 month, fully remote) for a Japanese FinTech player: build a file-sending connector from Databricks via the HULFT WebConnect API. Business-level Japanese is required for this engagement (client-side communication).

Your Mission

Build a file-sending connector from Databricks using the HULFT WebConnect API

Implement reliable file transfer (SFTP) and data integration / ETL flows

Develop in Python, with clean error handling and monitoring

Coordinate with the client team in Japanese

Profile

Currently based in Japan with valid work authorization — no relocation or visa sponsorship from overseas for this role

Senior data engineer with Databricks and Python experience

Hands-on with file transfer (SFTP) and data integration / ETL

HULFT / WebConnect exposure a plus

Business-level Japanese required; English a plus
