SAP Finance, Commercial & Workforce Process Lead
We are looking for an experienced Finance, Commercial & Workforce Process Lead to support the implementation and ongoing development of Finance, Commercial, and employee-related financial processes in our road and building construction business .
Our business processes are defined and owned by dedicated Business Process Owners . The main responsibility of this role is to work with these process owners and the SAP team to ensure that the approved processes are correctly implemented, integrated, tested, and supported in SAP .
This is primarily a business-process and SAP integration role , not a technical SAP role.
SAP experience is not required , but strong practical experience in finance, accounting, audit, or related areas is essential.
SAP Process Integration & Support
Work with Business Process Owners to understand established business processes and translate them into clear SAP requirements.
Ensure Finance, Commercial, and Workforce-related processes are correctly integrated in SAP.
Work closely with SAP consultants and internal teams during implementation, testing, and process improvements .
Participate in UAT and validate that SAP processes work correctly for real business scenarios.
Identify process and system gaps and coordinate their resolution with the SAP team.
Provide functional support for Finance, Commercial, and related SAP processes.
Support documentation of processes, requirements, and procedures.
Finance & Accounting
Support SAP processes covering:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Customer billing and collections
Vendor payments
Cash and payment processes
Financial reporting
Financial controls
Ensure financial transactions are correctly reflected in SAP.
Support the integration between Finance and operational processes such as Procurement, Projects, Sales, and Materials .
Help identify and resolve issues affecting financial postings, payments, billing, and reporting.
Ensure that financial controls and approval requirements are properly reflected in SAP.
Commercial
Support the integration of customer contracts, billing, revenue, payments, and project-related financial processes in SAP.
Work with Commercial, Finance, and Project teams to ensure that commercial transactions are correctly reflected in SAP.
Support customer billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue-related processes.
Identify integration gaps between commercial and financial processes and coordinate their resolution.
Workforce
Support the integration of employee-related financial processes with SAP.
Work with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure employee costs and payroll-related financial transactions are correctly reflected in SAP.
Support workflows related to employee payments, costs, and financial reporting.
5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a related field.
Strong practical understanding of financial and accounting processes.
Audit experience is highly appreciated , particularly experience with internal controls, process reviews, and risk identification.
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, payments, financial reporting, and financial controls .
Understanding of how financial processes connect with procurement, projects, sales/commercial activities, and employee costs .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand complex business processes and identify gaps, risks, and dependencies.
Ability to work effectively with Business Process Owners, SAP consultants, key users, Finance, Commercial, HR, and Project teams .
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and business data.
Fluent English is required.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or another project-based industry is an advantage.
SAP experience is not required.
The successful candidate should be willing to learn SAP and become the business-side expert supporting the correct implementation and operation of Finance, Commercial, and Workforce processes in SAP .
