Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Tasks:

• Operate and tend various wood processing machines to remove bark, knots and dirt from logs.
• Complete and maintain production reports.
• Operate and tend equipment to peel and slice veneer from logs and log sections.
• Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications.
• Start up, shut down, set up and adjust process equipment or machines.
• Set up, maintain and make minor repairs to machinery.
