Job purpose

To manage and coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities for oil & gas facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely project delivery in accordance with ADNOC standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

Review and approve commissioning philosophies, procedures, method statements, and test packages

Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing activities

Monitor system completion, punch-list closure, and mechanical completion status

Ensure EPC contractors execute commissioning activities in compliance with project specifications and HSE requirements

Interface with engineering, construction, operations, vendors, and contractors to resolve commissioning issues

Review commissioning schedules and ensure alignment with project milestones

Support systemization, subsystem handover, and turnover documentation

Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, constructability, and operational readiness reviews

Witness critical testing and commissioning activities

Ensure smooth handover of facilities to operations and maintenance teams

Prepare and review commissioning dossiers, test reports, and final turnover packages

Expected

15+ years of oil & gas experience

Minimum 5 years in commissioning of onshore oil & gas facilities

Previous PMC experience on ADNOC projects

Experience in gas processing plants, gathering systems, pipelines, utilities, and associated facilities

Strong knowledge of commissioning systems, completions management, and handover processes

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, chemical, process, or related engineering discipline

Professional engineering certification is an advantage

ADNOC approval and previous PMC experience preferred
