About the Role

The Partner Manager is responsible for selling Veeam software portfolio through large Channel partners who focus on VMware, Microsoft or other alternative on prem or Cloud virtualization solutions by recruiting, enabling, and developing them.

The Partner Manager must develop executive-level relationships and build/execute business plans with large Value Added Resellers/Integrators (VARs), Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and Managed Services Partners (MSPs).

The successful candidate must have proven and track record Enterprise Software Solution Sales experience.

Location of this role: Madrid, Spain (Work from Home combined with face-to-face customer visits)

What you´ll do:

Achieving revenue targets and goals for the territory

Developing and executing territory plan with the focus on Channel Partners

Recruiting, training and enabling channel partners.

Working closely with Veeam Account Managers and Channel Partners on closing large enterprise deals

Account mapping with the focus on Channel Partners

Track record of accomplishment selling in the virtualisation / IT Infrastructure market

Quarterly Target setting and tracking

Recurrent meetings with the focus on Channel Partners

Recurrent follow up with the focus on Channel Partners

Proven relationships in top channel partners and the ability to open new ones

Strong knowledge of consultative sales that gets results

What you´ll bring:

5-10 years of successful sales experience with a channel-focused company

Proven track record of successful selling in the channel 

Knowledge of virtualization technology, experience with Microsoft is a plus

Knowledge of IT storage & compute vendors, System Integrators, Hyperscalers in Spanish market is a plus

Experience in previous software backup channel sales desirable

Must have excellent communication skills - written and spoken

Strong team-working attitude in extended multi-cultural team

Business acumen and proactivity in suggesting and implementing leads generation initiatives

Fluent English and Spanish language skills
