The marketing team helps people discover The Black Tux, understand what sets us apart, and feel confident choosing us for their big moments. We use smart strategy and creative storytelling to bring new customers in and keep them coming back. What You’ll Do To further this important mission, we are looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager (Paid Social Focus) to own the day-to-day management, optimization, and growth of our paid social program. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, CA, reporting to the Director, Performance Marketing. This is a hands-on role and will work directly in-platform, digging into performance, launching and optimizing campaigns, and continually testing new ways to drive efficient customer acquisition and revenue. As the Performance Marketing Manager, you will work closely with our creative, brand, e-commerce, and analytics teams to connect media performance with creative strategy and broader business results.

Own the daily, hands-on management and optimization of paid social campaigns, primarily across Meta, TikTok and Pinterest

Oversee the paid social agency knowledge transfer, including access and change-history review, naming and taxonomy cleanup, conversion-action auditing, feed ownership mapping, historical experiment review, and reporting continuity

Build, launch and monitor campaigns across prospecting, retargeting, and customer acquisition while managing budgets, bidding strategies, audiences, and campaign structures

Proactively monitor performance to identify opportunities, issues, and shifts in performance

Continually optimize investment toward the audiences, campaigns, creative, and placements driving the strongest results

Stay current on Meta, TikTok and Pinterest’s evolving advertising products, automation, AI-powered tools, and platform best practices

Manage a structured testing roadmap across audiences, creative offers, landing pages, bidding strategies, and campaign structures

Identify opportunities to expand and improve prospecting and new customer acquisition

Balance short-term performance optimization with opportunities to identify new sources of scalable growth

Partner closely with Brand and Creative on performance creative and creator and UGC operations, especially as they relate to paid

Identify the messages, hooks, formats, products, offers, and concepts driving performance

Develop creative briefs and testing recommendations based on performance data

Help build our creator program, identify and manage creators, bring them into the TBT ecosystem (via Impact, ShopMy, LTK, etc.)

Identify UGC content with the potential to scale through paid media

Track usage rights, creator authorization and whitelisting, and TikTok Spark Ads

Monitor key performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, MER, conversion rate, CPM, CTR, AOV, and new customer acquisition while analyzing performance using platform data alongside GA4

Who You Are 4–6+ years of hands-on paid social experience, with retail or ecommerce experience required

Deep hands-on experience managing Meta, TikTok and Pinterest ads, including personally managing and optimizing meaningful paid media budgets

Sound understanding of prospecting, retargeting, and new customer acquisition

Knowledge of ecommerce performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, MER, conversion rate, AOV, and LTV

Deep analytical skills and the ability to quickly diagnose changes in performance

Creative instincts and experience using performance data to inform creative strategy

Experience with GA4 and ecommerce measurement and attribution

Ability to work independently, move quickly, and prioritize effectively

Broader performance marketing experience (e.g., Paid Search, Affiliate marketing)

Background in apparel, fashion, weddings, occasion-based businesses, or omnichannel retail

Experience scaling creator or UGC content through paid media

Experience with incrementality testing or marketing mix modeling
