Job Summary

Join TEG International College as a Lecturer in Housekeeping and Maintenance Management to train students in specialised housekeeping and maintenance practices, preparing them to meet industry standards and excel in their careers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical and theoretical instruction on disinfecting and housekeeping of confined spaces to ensure student competency in safe sanitation practices
  • Teach disinfecting and housekeeping techniques for glazed surfaces and facades to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Instruct students on operating specialist electronic equipment used in housekeeping and maintenance to develop technical proficiency
  • Guide students in mechanical outdoor disinfecting methods to prepare them for fieldwork in maintenance operations
  • Supervise students during industrial attachments to monitor performance and provide constructive feedback for professional growth
  • Provide guidance on industrial projects to develop students’ problem-solving and project management skills in real-world contexts
  • Teach periodic housekeeping of soft floors and furnishings to ensure students understand maintenance of various materials
  • Instruct internal disinfecting procedures for passenger transport to equip students with knowledge of hygiene standards in transit environments

Required competencies and certifications

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality, Housekeeping, Facility Management, or related fields
  • Proven industry experience in professional housekeeping, disinfection, and maintenance operations
