ServiceMaster Restore of Edmonton is seeking a *Human Resources Generalist *to join our team.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist will provide day-to-day HR consulting support across the organization. This role plays a key part in supporting leaders and employees while contributing to a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace.

This position is ideal for someone who is confident, self-directed, motivated, and enjoys a diverse scope of work. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing evolving priorities, and building strong relationships across the organization. A passion for making a difference and supporting employees is key to success in this role.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to employees and leaders
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding
  • Full cycle recruitment and selection processes
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to group health benefits
  • Review, verify, and reconcile benefit invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and workplace conflict resolution
  • Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and Canadian employment legislation
  • Support employee training, development and employee engagement initiatives
  • Prepare and distribute the monthly employee newsletter to support employee communication and engagement

*Qualifications & Experience *

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience in a non-union environment
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Well organized with the ability to manage priorities independently
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Must be a highly motivated, serviced and team-oriented individual with attention to detail.
  • CPHR designation or working toward it is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; ADP experience is an asset
