SAEKI - Manufacturing at software speed Europe's defense industrial base cannot respond at the speed modern conflict requires. Legacy suppliers operate on month-long timelines. Tribal knowledge is retiring. Supply chains are fragile. SAEKI is building the operating system for autonomous factories — the infrastructure that lets Europe manufacture mission-critical components at software speed. An industrial SLS production line is only as good as the people who run it reliably, every single day. Machines, software, and automation help — but in the end, it's the care of the people on the shop floor that decides whether a customer gets a perfect part or a complaint. That's why we're not looking for a classic machine operator. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, who enjoys working precisely, and who takes satisfaction in executing processes cleanly and catching problems before they become a problem.

The Role You are responsible for the day-to-day operation of our polymer SLS production. You make sure our machines are kept in flawless condition, production jobs run reliably, and every part leaves our facility at the required quality. You'll spend a large part of your time directly in production — at the machines, handling powder, cleaning, bead-blasting parts, and performing visual quality control. These tasks are often repetitive and demand one thing above all: sustained concentration and consistent, meticulous care. Based on-site at Factory ONE in Munich.

What We're Looking For Care as a default: You work extremely carefully and stay focused even after several hours. You enjoy catching errors others would miss, and you take ownership of the quality of your work. Machine operation: You operate our industrial polymer SLS systems and handle print job set-up and take-down. Powder handling & material management: You handle powder and materials cleanly and with discipline. Cleaning & maintenance: You perform daily, weekly, and preventive cleaning of the production equipment, and carry out basic maintenance tasks per defined work instructions. Post-processing: You bead-blast, clean, and post-process finished parts. Quality control: You carefully visually inspect every single part, identify quality deviations, and document them reliably. You support root-cause analysis of production defects and failed jobs. Documentation: You document production and quality data cleanly and in a structured way. Collaboration: You work closely with engineering and production to continuously improve our processes. Technical curiosity: You're technically interested, enjoy hands-on work, and aren't above pitching in yourself — whether that's powder handling, cleaning, or bead-blasting parts. Team player with ownership: You enjoy being part of a team, while independently running your own area of responsibility. Technical training (ideally): A technical vocational qualification, e.g. as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, precision mechanic, machine and plant operator, process mechanic, or a comparable qualification. Some prior experience in an industrial production environment is a plus. Experience with additive manufacturing or polymer SLS is a plus but not a requirement. Location: Based in Munich (on-site at Factory ONE). Language: Fluent German; good English skills are a plus.

What we're not looking for Button-pushers who just want to push parts through as fast as possible, rather than thinking through each job. People who consider themselves above pitching in — powder handling, cleaning, or bead-blasting parts. Operators who get careless after a few hours of routine. This role runs on consistent care, even on the hundredth part — a thousand perfect parts matter more than one spectacular one-off.

What we offer Mission: Rebuild the industrial sovereignty of the West. You'll work with state-of-the-art industrial SLS systems and be part of a team spanning production, software, robotics, and automation. Ownership from day one: You get real responsibility early on, and the opportunity to grow with the company. The Environment: A data-driven production environment with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and short decision paths. The Team: Close collaboration with our software, robotics, and engineering teams. "Special Forces" model — everyone ships, no politics, no bureaucracy. Direct feedback, high standards. Compensation: Competitive salary + PSOP participation. Location: Factory ONE in Munich. S-Bahn: 20 minutes from Ostbahnhof.

Apply Resume: Show us how you've worked so far — care, reliability, and ownership. Cover letter: Why this mission? Why now?
