Performance Tester

contract based - banking placement Responsibilities :

• Designing, developing, and executing performance test plans using tools like LoadRunner and JMeter, or similar for both APIs and front-end systems
• Collaborating with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure application scalability and performance compliance
• Automating performance tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
• Analyzing test metrics—response times, throughput, error rates—and providing detailed reports
• Identifying performance bottlenecks and collaborating with engineering teams to resolve them

Requirements :

• Experience: 2–6+ years in software testing or QA, with a strong focus on performance testing
• Tools & Tech: JMeter, LoadRunner, SOAP UI, Postman; Selenium for automation; plus CI tools like Jenkins, X-ray, TeamCity
• Programming Skills: Comfortable with one or more languages—Java, Python, JavaScript, .NET
• Test Planning: Strong understanding of test planning, performance test case design, KPIs and risk-based testing
• Methodologies: Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), bug tracking tools like Jira/Confluence
