Your tasks

As Service Manager you will lead the fostering service: supervising social workers, quality assurance, panel, recruitment of carers and the Ofsted relationship, with real influence over how the agency develops.

What the work is Supervising social worker work. Supporting and supervising foster carers, annual reviews, panel, and recruiting new carers. No child protection caseload, which is why experienced practitioners often move into it.

Requirements

• A social work qualification and current registration with Social Work England
• Management experience at a similar level

Pay and package

• Salary £58,000 to £60,000 a year
• £250 market supplement a year
