POC ENGINEERING LIMITED
POC ENGINEERING LIMITED is seeking a Welder Fabricator to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out welding and fabrication work to a high standard in accordance with engineering drawings and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and prepare appropriate welding equipment, including electric arc, MIG, TIG, gas welding, and other welding processes as required.
- Cut, shape, and prepare metal components using gas torches, electric arc equipment, and other fabrication tools.
- Weld metal components by guiding the electrode or torch along the weld line to produce strong, accurate, and high-quality joints.
- Repair damaged metal components using welding, brazing, or soldering techniques as appropriate.
- Clean, grind, smooth, and finish welded joints to achieve the required quality standards.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for defects and ensure conformity with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years' experience as a Welder.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
