About Perry Weather

Perry Weather is the weather safety standard for organizations that operate outdoors. We combine on-site weather hardware with a software platform that automates alerts, siren activations, and safety decisions for more than 3,000 organizations — from the PGA of America, the NFL, and MLB to Turner Construction, thousands of school districts, cities, and golf courses. We've grown 80%+ annually for five consecutive years, and are continuing to grow.

We're headquartered in Dallas at The Centrum, in the Oak Lawn neighborhood, where our teams work together every day to help organizations make faster and safer decisions when weather puts people, assets, and operations at risk.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Account Manager to own retention and growth across our largest and most strategic accounts. You’ll manage a focused book of approximately 50 customers, growing toward 75, with responsibility for renewals, expansion, and the overall customer relationship.

You’ll get to know each customer’s priorities, help them get more out of Perry Weather, and identify opportunities to grow the relationship. That means staying close to how they use the product, building relationships with decision-makers, and addressing issues well before renewal.

This is also an opportunity to help shape our account management function. You’ll have the autonomy to build account plans, improve onboarding, and establish processes that the broader team can use as we scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full renewal cycle for your accounts, from planning and negotiation through renewal.
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities by understanding customer needs and introducing additional products, capabilities, or broader adoption across their organization.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including day-to-day users, internal champions, and executive decision-makers.
  • Develop account plans that capture customer priorities, renewal risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Lead customer conversations about adoption, results, and how Perry Weather can support their goals.
  • Partner with Account Executives on account strategy and expansion opportunities.
  • Coordinate onboarding for complex accounts, working across teams to manage requirements, set expectations, and deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Take ownership of customer issues and bring the right people together to resolve them.
  • Share customer feedback with Product to help guide improvements and new capabilities.

What Success Looks Like

  • Your book meets or exceeds renewal and expansion targets.
  • Customers use Perry Weather consistently and understand the value it provides.
  • Every strategic account has an account plan, engaged stakeholders, and clear next steps.
  • Risks and growth opportunities are identified early.
  • The processes you build improve how the team onboards and manages enterprise customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SaaS account management or customer success experience, including ownership of enterprise or strategic accounts.
  • A track record of retaining customers and sourcing and closing expansion business.
  • Experience managing renewals, negotiating contracts, and working with multiple decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • Ability to connect product capabilities to customer needs and business outcomes.
  • Comfort building processes while managing the day-to-day needs of your accounts.
  • Curiosity about the product and a willingness to work through the details when customers need help.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings and relationship development.

Benefits

  • You'll want to come into the office. Our Oak Lawn office isn't just a place to sit — it's where ideas move fast and culture stays strong. The whole team is here Monday through Friday, which means real collaboration, no chasing people down over Slack, and a genuinely fun place to spend your work days.
  • Your wellbeing is covered. Competitive health insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, and a full suite of voluntary benefits, because you shouldn't have to think twice about the basics.
  • Good people, good times. Monthly All-Hands, Office Olympics, happy hours, and more. We take the work seriously and the culture seriously too.
  • You're getting in early, and that matters. We're growing fast, but the biggest opportunities are still ahead. The people joining now will help shape what Perry Weather becomes.
