*Location: Milton Keynes OA Recruitment is looking for an experienced and reliable Back of House Assistant** to support a busy events venue in Milton Keynes throughout December.
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn some extra money in the run-up to Christmas, working alongside a busy kitchen and events team.
Your tasks
- Overseeing the back of house kitchen area during evening events.
- Liaising with chefs to ensure the smooth running of kitchen operations.
- Coordinating and providing direction to the evening kitchen porters.
- Ensuring kitchen areas remain clean, organised and safe.
- Supporting the wider catering team during busy service periods.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and health and safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen, catering or events environment.
- Confident communicating with chefs and coordinating kitchen porters.
- Organised, proactive and able to work well under pressure.
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
- Reliable and available for evening and late-night shifts.
- Must be aged 18 or over.
What we offer
Working Hours & Pay
- £18.00 per hour
- 6:00pm – 2:00am
- 30-minute unpaid break
- £135 per shift (7.5 paid hours)
